Yummy Baked Potato Skins Recipe


Traditionally baked potato skins that are easy to prepare and delicious at the same time.

4 large baking potatoes, baked
44.37 ml vegetable oil
14.79 ml grated parmesan cheese
2.46 ml salt
1.23 ml garlic powder
1.23 ml paprika
0.59 ml pepper
8 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled
473.18 ml shredded cheddar cheese (8 ounces)
118.29 ml sour cream (optional)
4 green onions, sliced (optional)


  1. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise; scoop out pulp and discard (or save for another use) leaving the 1/4-inch shell
  2. Place the potatoes on a greased baking sheet
  3. Combine oil, Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder, paprika and pepper and brush all over potato skins
  4. Bake the potatoes at 475° for about 8 minutes and then turn them over
  5. Bake for another 8 minutes or so and then turn right side up
  6. Generously sprinkle bacon and cheddar evenly inside of skins
  7. Bake for another two minutes longer or until the cheese melts
  8. Top your baked potato with sour cream and onions
